Kingston WI meets on the first Thursday of each month, except for August, at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall.
In July a bus trip to Tunbridge Wells was organised and was very well supported. During the following month,
wine tasting took place at a nearby vineyard with members sampling both white and red wines. Meetings restarted
in September with a talk from one of our own members on 'My time at Bletchley Park' as she was one of the code
breakers. In October we had a very interesting talk about 'The Social History of Tea. It is our Business Meeting
in November where the next committee are elected for the following year. Our Christmas Party takes place in
December when everyone will enjoy good food and great intertainment! Watch this space for next year's programme
as it is going to be great!
Various activities take place during the year, such as
- Weekly Pilates
- Fortnightly Tap Dancing
- Monthly Walks
- Bi monthly Book Group
- Singing Group meets and performs regularly
