Kingston WI meets on the
first Thursday of each month, except for August, at 7.30 pm in the
Parish Hall. The following will be taking place during 2012:
- 5h January - The Art Deco Ladies and their Legacy by David Back
- 2nd February - Water Aid - a talk about the charity by Bill Jeffries - Open Meeting
- 1st March - A Tudor Evening with Henry VIIl by Tony Harris
- 5th April - The Magical Victorians - Victorian Magicians and their tricks by John Schofield
- 3rd May - Resolution Meeting
- 7th June - Choice Joyce - a flavour of Joyce Grenfell by Pat Bryer
- 5th July - Garden Meeting to be held in Kingston Community Pavilion at 6.30 pm - Produce Stall
- 6th September - Lewes Priory by Kate Hickmott - Open Meeting
- 4th October - English as she is spoke by John Davey
- 1st November - Annual Business Meeting - Bring and Buy Stall
- 13th December - Christmas Party, 6.30 pm for 7.00 pm
Various activities take place during the year, such as
- Weekly Pilates
- Fortnightly Tap Dancing
- Monthly Walks
- Bi monthly Book Group
- Singing Group meets and performs regularly
