- Affordable housing - Action in Rural Sussex (AIRS) has asked that possible sites be identified. If you
have any suggestions, please contact any Parish Councillor or Action Plan Steering Group member.
- Village greens - Applications to register St.Pancras Green, the Village Green and Snednore Green were
submitted to the local authority. None of these applications has been approved.
- Conservation Area Appraisal - The appraisal of Kingston as a Conservation Area has been carried out and has
been approved by Lewes District Council. Both the appraisal

and a map (link: plan_CAA_KingstonMap.pdf)
of the extent of the Conservation Area can be
viewed on the LDC website. The Action Plan recommendation that development on open spaces around the Conservation Area
be opposed has been accepted
